PENGARUH INTENSITAS PENGGUNAAN MEDIA SOSIAL TIKTOK TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM KELAS XI SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS NEGERI 8 MALANG
Abstract
This research is motivated by the presence of students using mobile phones in the classroom during the learning process. The aim of this investigation is to elucidate and provide a comprehensive portrayal of 1) the intensity of TikTok social media use, 2) the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education (PAI), 3) determine the influence of the intensity of TikTok social media use on the PAI learning outcomes of grade XI students at SMA Negeri 8 Malang. This study employs quantitative approaches, specifically utilizing survey methodology. The population of this study was students of grades XI 1, XI 3, and XI 4 with a total of 108 students. Sampling using purposive sampling techniques, and a sample of 85 students was obtained. Data was collected through questionnaires regarding the intensity of TikTok use and documentation of odd-semester UAS scores for PAI learning outcomes. The results of this study revealed that 1) the intensity of TikTok social media use, the intensity of TikTok social media use in grade XI students of SMAN 8 Malang was included in the medium category, which was 52 students or 61.2%, 2) The learning outcomes of PAI class XI SMAN 8 Malang for the 2023/2024 academic year are in the medium category, which is 59 students or 69.4%, 3) there was an influence significant The intensity of TikTok social media use on the PAI learning outcomes of grade XI students at SMAN 8 Malang is evidenced by a calculated value of 3,064 > 1.989 and a probability value (p) of 0.003 = 0.003 < 0.05.
