STRATEGI GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM MENUMBUHKAN TOLERANSI BERAGAMA SISWA (STUDI KASUS SMP NEGERI 13 MALANG)

Abstract

This research will discuss (1) the planning of Islamic religious education teachers’ strategies in fostering students’ religious tolerance at SMP Negeri 13 Malang, (2) the implementation of Islamic religious education teachers’ strategies in fostering students’ religious tolerance at SMP Negeri 13 Malang (3) The evaluation of Islamic religious education teachers’ strategies in fostering students’ religious tolerance at SMP Negeri 13 Malang. This research was conducted at SMP Negei 13 Malang located on Jl Sunan Ampel 2, RT. 09, RW. 02, Dinoyo, Kec. Lowokwaru, Malang City, East Java. This research uses a qualitative approach method with data collection through observasion, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the teacher’s strategy in fostering religious tolerance was good, indicate by the students’ awareness of religious tolerance, in their daily live students have carried out religious tolerance well. So it is expected that SMP Negeri 13 Malang will continue to foster and practice religious tolerance.
