NILAI-NILAI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM PERSPEKTIF AL-QUR’AN (STUDI PENAFSIRAN IMAM IBNU KATSIR PADA Q.S. LUQMAN AYAT 12-24)
Abstract
In this study, the aim is to find out the values of character education contained in Al-Qur'an Luqman verses 12-24, study the interpretation of Ibnu Katsir in his work, namely Tafsir Ibnu Katsir This thesis uses a type of literature research or library research (Library Research) using written data, including books, translations of interpretation books, journals, and others. In this thesis, the source of research data comes from primary data and secondary data. Primary data is data sourced from the Al-Qur'an and the Interpretation of Ibn Katsir by Imam Ibnu Katsir. The secondary data serves as supporting material for the discussion in this thesis, namely data sourced from books and scriptures that have a correlation with the values of character education. The data analysis technique used in this study uses the content analysis method, which is a scientific analysis of the contents of a communication message. The following is the result of Ibnu Katsir's interpretation of the Al-Qur'an Luqman verses 12-24.
The results of the research that researchers have carried out, it can be seen that the values of character education in the interpretation of Ibn Katsir Al-Qur'an Luqman verses 12-24 include the values of gratitude, wisdom, respect, good deeds, friendliness, good manners and talk, the prohibition of being arrogant, trust
