STRATEGI KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM MENERAPKAN KEDISIPLINAN PADA SISWA DI SMAN 4 MALANG
Abstract
The role of educators is very important in improving student discipline in schools. As educators, you should always invite students to be disciplined, try and to make them aware of the importance of being disciplined students. Discipline is obedience to carry out a system that requires a person to comply with decisions, orders, and regulations that apply in a place. The principal is tasked with advancing education in the school he leads and is one of the most important factors in improving the quality of teaching because progress in student discipline is a very important principal's obligation. The goal to be achieved in this research is to describe and analyze the principal's strategy in applying discipline to students at SMAN 4 Malang. Data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of the research include the principal's planning in applying discipline to students at SMAN 4 Malang which consists of compiling rules and regulations at SMAN 4 Malang and holding dissemination of a culture of discipline, then the implementation of the principal's implementation of discipline to students at SMAN 4 Malang consisting of rules and procedures orderly, exemplary, always reminding, giving assignments to teachers, communicating with parents of students, giving rewards. Then the Evaluation of the Principal in applying Discipline to students at SMAN 4 Malang consists of collecting existing problems and constraints and finding solutions to these problems.
