IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM IMAN DAN TAQWA (IMTAQ) SEBAGAI UPAYA GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM MEINGKATKAN KARAKTER RELIGIUS SISWA DI SMP NEGERI 1 PUJON

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the IMTAQ program as an effort by PAI teachers to improve students' religious character. This is research, Collect data in this study is observation, interviews, and documentation. The data is gotten from headmaster, Teachers, and Students. The research was conducted at Pujon 1 Public Middle School using data analysis through data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research showed that the Imtaq program had been carried out and good organization, although there was one Imtaq program activity that had yet to be carried out due to some hindrance. Then, the coaching process is carried out directly by the teacher of Islamic religious education in collaboration with other teachers and several students who are instructed to become peer tutors so that the Imtaq program activities can run smoothly. There are several inhibiting factors for imtaq program activities, while the supporting factors for imtaq program activities include coming from teachers and students themselves. The benefit of the Imtaq program is that it provides important changes for students, particulalry in the mannor of students who are getting better, especially the religious character of students.
