PENDIDIKAN KENABIAN PERSPEKTIF IMAM GHAZALI (STUDI KITAB “AYYUHAL WALAD†KARYA IMAM AL-GHAZALI)

Abstract

This article contains Imam Al-Ghazali's advice to his students who seek knowledge, to be used as a guide for them when studying. This literature research aims to describe the concept, values of prophetic education in the book of Ayyuhal Walad and the relevance of prophetic education to Islamic education. The method used in this research is content analysis, with a qualitative approach and the type of research used is library research. The concept of Prophetic Education in the book of Ayyuhal Walad according to Imam Al-Ghazali, namely: Prophetic education in worship, in interaction, forming the character of students who are khaira ummah, the character of teachers in teaching science. The value of Prophetic Education is included in the four characteristics of the prophet Muhammad SAW, namely shidiq, amanah, tabligh, fathonah. Prophetic education according to Imam Al-Ghazali has relevance and compatibility with Islamic education. Both in terms of goals, educators, students, materials and methods between prophetic education and Islamic education have a strong relevance. It can even be concluded that modern education experts take more theories written by Imam Al-Ghazali.
