KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM MENERAPKAN MULTIKULTURALISME BERAGAMA DI SMP KARTIKA IV-8 MALANG
Abstract
This research is motivated by the diversity of religions embraced by students of SMP Kartika IV-8 Malang, so that it requires activities that can support the passage of religious multiculturalism. With this it is known that the purpose of this research is to know the strategy, stages of implementation, and the impact given by the leadership of the principal when implementing religious multiculturalism at SMP Kartika IV-8 Malang. This study employs a qualitative method using a descriptive case study research design. The gathering of data was conducted through the utilization of observation, interviews, and documentation methods. The sources of data were derived from both primary and secondary sources. The data analysis techniques utilized in this study encompassed data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing of conclusions. The validity of the data was ensured through the application of triangulation. Based on the research results, it is known that there are three stages of strategy carried out by school principals in implementing religious multiculturalism, including: making policy plans and work programs, forming school organizational structures and those in charge, and providing direction to the entire teacher council. the implementation will focus on the daily activities of students at school. In addition, the impacts resulting from this include: a) Â Tolerance and mutual respect for students are higher b) Increasing students' understanding of subject matter c) Increasing students' self-confidence and d) Growing social spirit and cooperation between students.
