STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN KONTEKSTUAL PADA MATA PELAJARAN FIKIH DALAM MENINGKATKAN KARAKTER RASA INGIN TAHU SISWA DI MTs DARUN NAJAH KARANGPLOSO MALANG

Abstract

Development of Islamic Education (PPAI) Darun Najah Karangploso is an educational foundation with an Islamic education background, in which students are taught and required to understand religious knowledge to become the next generation of scholars. PPAI Darun Najah which is a pesantren-based educational institution makes students have limitations in obtaining information. This is due to institutional regulations that prohibit students from using electronic devices, one of which is a cell phone. This study aims to find out how the Fiqh teacher's efforts in improving the character of students' curiosity through contextual learning in Fiqh subjects. In this study, researchers used a qualitative approach to the type of case study research. The reason the researcher used this type of research was because the researcher wanted to examine how the phenomenon of the Fiqh teacher's efforts in increasing the character of students' curiosity through contextual learning strategies in Fkih subjects at MTs. Darun Najah Karangploso Malang. Implementation of contextual learning strategies on Jurisprudence material in improving students' curiosity in MTs. Darun Najah Karangploso Malang goes through seven components in contextual learning. The seven components are constructivism, discovering, asking, community, learning, modeling, reflection, and actual assessment. The delivery of Fiqh material in the classroom with the seven components is accompanied by a stimulus which stimulates students' curiosity so that it can increase and indicators of student curiosity can be achieved.
