Being known as a school that plays a role in character education is one of the
reasons parents send their children there, this is the background for researchers
in conducting this research. Therefore, the focus that the researchers took was
on the teacher's efforts in planning, implementing, and evaluating the Aqidah
Akhlak subject to instill the character of Ulul Albab at MTs Mambaul Ulum Pakis.
This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative research methods,
with data collection techniques of observation, documentation, and interviews.
Meanwhile, the results of his research are that teachers carry out lesson plans by
making learning tools at the beginning of the school year such as lesson plans
and syllabi, and conducting lesson plans together with the school curriculum.
Then in the implementation of learning the teacher makes various efforts so that
the learning process runs effectively, so that it can support the cultivation of the
Ulul Albab character. While the evaluation is carried out by conducting daily
evaluations by taking the values of attitudes and aspects of attitudes and skills.
Take the value of knowledge aspects with midterm and final semester exams by
madrasahs and evaluate teachers as well to improve service and improve the
quality of education.
