Gender-based class segregation, namely the implementation of the division of students based on gender in learning activities.  Separation of gender classes comes from the idea that boys and girls learn in different ways, one of which is in social terms.  Some argue that girls tend to lack confidence in their abilities and the presence of the opposite sex is distracting and leads to lower academic engagement.  Meanwhile, the cons argue that learning with a gender segregation system has the potential to hinder the development of abilities in social skills.  Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the effect of gender-based class separation on students' learning motivation.  The location of this research was conducted at Muqorrobin Singosari Islamic Middle School.  So, what will be discussed in this study is what will be discussed is how segregation, motivation and influence between these variables at SMPI Muqorrobin Singosari.  This study aims to describe gender-based class segregation, learning motivation and the effect of gender-based class segregation on the learning motivation of class VII students of SMPI Muqorrobin Singosari.  In order to achieve the research objectives, the researcher uses a type of quantitative research.  Data collection procedures using the questionnaire method.  The results found that there was a relationship between gender-based class segregation and the learning motivation of class VII students of SMPI muqorrobin Singosari by 19%.
