STRATEGI PENGELOLAAN KELAS PADA MATA PELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM MEMBANGUN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA DI SMK MANDIRI PAGELARAN MALANG

Abstract

Education has a role to develop the various potentials of students and the educational process is not only directed to explore and develop the potential that exists in students, but also to provide and develop the professionalism of teaching staff. The teacher has an important role because, the main task of a teacher is to create the atmosphere in the class is interesting, with interactions that can motivate students to be able to study more diligently. SMK Mandiri Pagelaran Malang is one of the schools that uses a class management strategy in PAI subjects to build student motivation. This research is a case study research, using observational research methods, unstructured interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are planning a strategy for managing PAI classes, namely by determining learning objectives, making learning tools, preparing materials and materials, preparing media that are appropriate to learning methods, managing classrooms, and establishing class rules, class picket schedules, and managing behavior. student. The implementation of the PAI class management strategy is carried out, namely the teacher carries out learning according to the lesson plan, delivering learning material in an interesting way, good class management, providing motivation and appreciation to students. Evaluation of PAI classroom management strategies in the form of assignments, written tests, observations of student participation, or small research projects. The assessment carried out in this evaluation is in the form of students' understanding of the material, skills acquired, attitudes and values formed, as well as students' spiritual development.
