PEMBINAAN KARAKTER RELIGIUS SISWA MELALUI KEGIATAN KEAGAMAAN DI MTS RAUDLATUL ULUM KARANGPLOSO KABUPATEN MALANG

Abstract

This article describes the development of religious character in MTs Raudlatul Ulum Karangploso students, Malang Regency. This study aims to describe the process of fostering students' religious character through religious activities as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in fostering students' religious character at MTs Raudlatul Ulum Karangploso, Malang Regency. This research approach is to use descriptive qualitative research, by conducting field studies through: observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses: data condensation, data presentation, verification and conclusion. The results of the research at MTs Raudlatul Ulum Karangploso Malang Regency show. 1) The process of fostering the religious character of students through religious activities is carried out through three methods: the habituation method of worship, the method of disciplinary habituation, and the method of collaboration between teachers and parents. 2) the supporting factors in fostering the religious character of students are the cohesiveness of the teacher in guiding students, the enthusiasm and support of students' parents, as well as the facilities and infrastructure in fostering religious character in students. 3) the inhibiting factors in developing religious character are the lack of self-awareness of students, the environment in which students live is not good.
