Education is a deliberate and methodical undertaking aimed at fostering an environment and learning process wherein students actively cultivate their potential to possess robust religious and spiritual fortitude, unwavering self-control, distinct personality, astuteness, virtuous character, and the essential skills required both for personal fulfillment and societal progress, as well as the advancement of their nation and state. The implementation of learning Islamic religious education at Sabilurrosyad Islamic Middle School in Malang in delivering material often uses the storytelling method, but not a few students like to learn with the storytelling method, this can be seen from the way students pay attention or pay close attention to their Islamic religion subject teacher Muhammad Bisri Mustafa when delivering the material. To accomplish the aforementioned goals, qualitative research is employed, employing observation and interview methods as data collection procedures. These approaches are utilized to gather information and insights for the purpose of achieving the desired outcomes in education. In terms of supporting factors, students prefer the storytelling method over other methods and good evaluation results can make teaching and learning activities run smoothly. However, there are also teacher inhibiting factors such as the active role in class and the unavailability of supporting media.
