Index Card Match is a game that is highly entertaining and engaging that is used to review material that has already been presented. The index card match learning approach, which uses matched cards (question cards and answer cards), is a cooperative learning strategy. Due of the encouragement to utilize the paired cards correctly to discover the correct answer, this tactic can boost students' enthusiasm to study and keep them interested in what they are learning in class. This study was carried out at SMP Al-Azhar Banyuwangi with the goal of determining the level of effect that the index card match approach helped by mind mapping has. Quantitative experimental research is the methodology employed in this study. The paired sample t-test and data are used in this data analysis approach. The SPSS Version 24.0 computer software is used to process the data, and a paired sample t-test with a significance threshold of 5% is used for data analysis. The experimental class's average score was 56.68%, whereas the control class' was 51.84%, according to the results data. The t-test analysis findings in this study yielded a value of 0.000, which shows that the value of sig (2-tailed) 0.05. Thus, the index card match approach for learning, along with mind mapping, has an impact on raising student learning motivation.
