UPAYA GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER DISIPLIN SISWA MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DI SMP ISLAM MA’ARIF 02 MALANG
Abstract
This research examines discipline character education for students at SMP Islam Ma'arif 02 Malang. There is an issue regarding students' discipline in learning, which necessitates discipline character education to address the phenomenon of declining moral values among students at SMP Islam Ma'arif 02 Malang. Therefore, this research serves as input and reference for other researchers as previous research and for SMP Islam Ma'arif 02 Malang as an effort to address the phenomenon of declining moral values among students. The method used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive analysis approach, with the following problem formulations: 1) The efforts of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in shaping students' discipline character through Islamic religious education at SMP Islam Ma'arif 02 Malang, 2) Factors that support and hinder the efforts to shape students' discipline character at SMP Islam Ma'arif 02 Malang. The findings show that Islamic Religious Education can be an alternative for cultivating students' discipline character due to the current era's developments.
