STRATEGI GURU PAI DALAM PENANAMAN KARAKTER RELIGIUS PESERTA DIDIK DI SMP RADEN FATAH BATU
Abstract
The problem so far is that Islamic religious education in schools is only taught as knowledge without any application in daily life. In order that the role of Islamic religious education, how to cultivate religious character for children, is not adequately achieved, the authors conduct research related to what is the religious character of students?, what are the methods of PAI teachers to inculcate religious character in students. ? And what are the supporting and hindering factors in cultivating students' religious characteristics. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research are that the character of the students in this school is different, the teacher's strategy in cultivating character can be found in the school curriculum, religious activities, role models, habits and so on. The factors that support the cultivation of religious character are the need for religion, the cohesion of all school staff and strategic location, while the hindering factors are the lack of self-awareness of students, the lack of parental support, the wrong relationship. and limited facilities.
