IMPLEMENTASI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM MEWUJUDKAN PROFIL PELAJAR PANCASILA DI SMP NEGERI 1 TUTUR PASURUAN
Abstract
Character education is aplanned and detailed effort that is carried out systematically and continuously to develop students in applying good values related to human relations with God Almighty and oneself with the environment, nation and state. Pancasila student profiles are essensitial competencies and characters that are learned throungh cross-discplines. The profile of pancasila students is contained in 6 dimensions, where each dimension has several elements that can describe the competence and character. The six elemens the pancasilastudent profile are: noble character, critical reasoning, creativity, global diversity, independence and mutual cooperation. If the scool is imbued with the spirit of instiling character education, it will be an effective place for the formation of individuals so that they can grow well in their environment. Using qualitative research methods, qualitative research is descriptive (describing) research and tends to use analysis with an inductive approach that is descriptive in nature. SMP Negeri 1 Tutur Pasuruan implements character education in daily activities at school how students behave politely, in teaching and learning activities every subject teacher is required to intill strengthening character education.
