This research was conducted to find out (1) how student learning outcomes were before the application of the mind mapping learning method, (2) how student learning outcomes were after the application of the mind mapping learning method, (3) was there any influence in using the mind mapping method on student learning outcomes. This research was conducted at the MA Almaarif Singosari school and the sample was class X IPS 2 with a total of 40 students. This research uses a type of classroom action research (PTK) using a mix method approach. The value obtained by the activity teacher in cycle I was 69.4% and increased in cycle II, namely 87.5%. Whereas in student activities in the first cycle, the score was 73.6%, increasing in the second cycle, 88.9%. The student learning outcomes in cycle I amounted to 62.5% and increased in cycle II to 90%. Based on the problems that have been described, it can be said that the application of the mind mapping learning method can improve student learning outcomes.
