POLA ASUH ORANG TUA DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN EMOSI ANAK DI DUSUN JATISARI DESA JATISARI KECAMATAN PAKISAJI KABUPATEN MALANG
Abstract
Developing children's emotions from an early age is a very important thing to do in order to shape the child's characteristics and mentality so that they are on a directed path in achieving their life's welfare. The involvement of parents in providing proper parenting in the form of guidance and to a child will determine the child's character, attitude, behavior, success and success in the future. As a human being, of course there are limitations, such as the constraints experienced by parents in providing parenting in developing the child's own emotions. The purpose of this research is to describe Children's Emotional Development, Parenting Patterns, and Parents' Obstacles and Efforts with a case study located in Jatisari Hamlet, Jatisari Village, Pakisaji District, Malang Regency. The type of research used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data collection method uses three steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The conclusion from this study is that the parenting style that is dominantly applied by parents in Jatisari Hamlet is democratic parenting, this is evidenced by parents who always give freedom to children but are still under control and supervision, giving children opportunities to express their feelings, thoughts and feelings, with the hope that children have responsibility, tolerance and honesty towards parents and the environment.
