PERANAN GURU AKIDAH AKHLAK DALAM PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER PESERTA DIDIK KELAS VIII DI MTs MU’ALLIMIN NU MALANG
Abstract
This study discusses the role of Aqidah Ahlaq teachers in shaping the character of class VII students at MTs Mu`allimin NU Malang. This research is motivated by the poor character of students at this time so that many students still often break the rules. This research is a type of qualitative research using descriptive qualitative research methods. The method used in this study uses interviews, observation and documentation. Informasi analysis techniques used to collect informasi through informasi reduction, informasi presentation, and drawing conclusions. The conclusion of this study is the role of the Akidah Akhlak teacher in building the character of class VIII students at Mts Muallimin NU Malang, namely by the teacher delivering learning material and religious activities that have become habits, supervising and caring and also the teacher giving examples to students. Then the strategy or method used by the Akidah Akhlak teacher in building student character at MTs Muallimin NU Malang, namely: Integrating character through daily activities in the form of exemplary giving, environmental conditioning that supports character education, routine activities, character habituation, and activities companion and supervision of character education. And the results of the role of the Akidah Akhlak teacher in shaping the character of MTs Muallimin NU Malang students have shown good attitudes towards teachers and other friends, shown discipline, and obeyed school rules.
