The role of school culture in fostering student character at Dewantara Junior High School. The aims of this study were (1) to describe the role of the school culture of Dewantara Surabaya Junior High School in fostering student discipline character. The results of this study are (1) the role of school culture in Dewantara Surabaya Junior High School in fostering student character is that school culture can make students accustomed to discipline in carrying out rules and activities at school. (2) the role of culture at Dewantara Surabaya Junior High School in fostering students' honesty character is the existence of an honesty canteen. Students are used to being honest when they want to buy honesty, students are accustomed to working at the end of the semester independently, students are accustomed to telling the truth to their parents, for example, asking permission from other people. parents to come home late because there are activities at school.
