Pedagogic competence lacks teacher’s attention in paying attention to students in
learning, it is seen that from some of the excess abilities that teachers have one of the competecie that are lacking in mastering so as not to lack student learning
motivation. The purpose of this research is to know that the pedagogic competence of teachers in student learning, want to know the pedadgogic competence of teachers in improving students’ learning motivation. The research method is qualitative descriptive method. The source of this research data consists of teachers of moral faith and students. The results of this study show that the pedagogical competence of religioous teachers in improving the motivation of students in MAN 2 Malang, the professional leadership of teachers in teaching and their influence on every process of learning akhlak in MAN 2 Malang. Improving students’ learning motivation creates collaboration with BK teachers and homeroom teachers, and improves teachers’ learning abilities. Researchers concluded the role of teachers in improving students’ learning motivation is very influrntial for students in times of pandemic conditions teacher’s burden in the learning process.
