Religious values are needed by students in dealing with changing times with moral degradation, in this case it is expected that students can behave well based on religious provisions and provisions. Thus, it is necessary to have a teacher's role in moral aqidah in growing students' religious values to create character education for students, especially in the religious field. The purpose of writing this thesis is to find out the role of the moral aqidah teacher in growing students' religious values at Wahid Hasyim Middle School Malang. By using a qualitative approach in order to know a certain context. From the results of observations, interviews, and documentation that the researchers did, the researchers stated that the results of the role of the moral aqidah teacher in growing students' religious values at Wahid Hasyim Junior High School Malang showed that the teacher's steps in the religious values of students at Wahid Hasyim Junior High School Malang were quite good, but needed handling. especially for students whose parents are busy or pay little attention to their children. the formation of religious values at the Wahid Hasyim Junior High School Malang in the subject of moral aqidah is very effective.
