Increasing technological advances make it easy for someone to get information but not only that, it can be seen that reading interest is so minimal in the Republic of Indonesia. An Indonesian ambassador said that one must also understand literacy, not only being able to read or be able to write. While literacy is the ability to absorb and process information so that it is useful for life. It can be seen from the condition of students’ lack of interest in reading in the world of education today. Likewise in learning activities that occur in schools, a teacher also seeks to foster interest in reading the Qur’an at SMKN 4 Malang so that it uses teaching methods by delivering teaching materials. In the process of teaching and learning activities, in this case the teacher uses the (classical) method or read and listen, as well as other habits carried out in the educational environment. In the teaching and learning process there are certainly factors that influence in achieving these goals.
