ANALISIS EFISIENSI BIAYA USAHATANI PADI SAWAH (STUDI KASUS DESA KEDUNGBANTENG KECAMATAN SUMBERMANJING WETAN KABUPATEN MALANG)

Abstract

Malang Regency is one of the areas in East Java that has quite good rice potential, almost all regencies/cities in East Java produce rice. Total rice production in Malang Regency reached 279,366 GKG in 2023. Sumbermanjing Wetan District is known as one of the centers of rice production in Malang Regency. As a rice center, rice farming in Kedungbanteng Village not only has an impact on improving the local community's economy, but also helps strengthen food security in Malang Regency. However, cost efficiency in the village cannot yet be considered adequate or inadequate. This study aimed to analyze the cost efficiency of rice farming in Kedungbanteng Village, Sumbermanjing Wetan District, Malang Regency. The study was conducted from February to July 2025, with a sample size of 52 people using the Slovin method. The data analysis method used is descriptive quantitative by analyzing costs and R/C ratio. . The results of the study showed that the average fixed costs of carrot farmers respondents were Rp468,626/season, variable costs were Rp5,852,932/season, total costs were Rp6,321,558/season, revenue was Rp17,652,000, income was Rp9,771,246 and the R/C ratio value was 2.24 which is included in the category of efficient and feasible farming.
