Analisis Efisiensi Penggunaan Faktor-faktor Produksi Usahatani Wortel (Studi Kasus : Desa Sumbergondo Kecamatan Bumiajai Kota Batu)

Carrots have the potential as one of the plants from the horticulture sub-sector that can be developed. Carrots are one of the vegetables that are popular in Indonesian society. Increasing awareness of the benefits of carrot consumption for the community has resulted in high demand for carrots in the market. The increase in the need for carrots is conditioned by production results that affect people's consumption patterns. This study aims to (1) analyze the income of carrot farming businesses in Sumbergondo Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City (2) Analyze the production factors of carrot farming businesses in Sumbergono Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City (3) Analyze the efficiency of the use of carrot farming production factors allocatively in Sumbergodo Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City. Determination of the sample using simple random sampling of 43 respondents. Data analysis using descriptive analysis, R/C Ratio, Cobb Douglass production function. The results of the study showed that (1) carrot farming is profitable as indicated by farmer income of Rp. 16,304,174/Ha/MT and R/C ratio of 2.14, (2) factors that influence farming are manure. While seeds/Ha, NPK/Ha, ZA/Ha, Antracol/Ha and HOK/Ha are not significant because they do not affect carrot production. From the results of the allocative efficiency analysis, it can be seen that the production factors that influence are manure/ha, not efficient.
