Abstract

Corn is an important commodity in the Indonesian agricultural sector, contributing significantly to food consumption, animal feed, and industrial raw materials. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence corn farming income in Soritatanga Village, Pekat District, Dompu Regency. The method used is a quantitative descriptive approach with quantitative data collection on corn production and income. The study was conducted from January 15, 2024 to April 20, 2024, involving 45 farmers randomly selected from a population of 600 farmers. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression with the Cobb-Douglas function. The results of the analysis show that against corn income factors, factors that have a positive effect on corn farming income are urea fertilizer costs, labor, and family size, while factors that have a negative effect on corn farming income are tractor costs and those that do not affect farming income are NPK fertilizer costs, experience and age.
