ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI POLA KONSUMSI TERIGU DI JAWATIMUR

Abstract


Abstract

               Flour is one of the processed food ingredients that is often used by the people of East Java. This can be seen from the large number of processed foods using wheat. However, this flour is almost 100% imported. This research was conducted to determine the influence of flour consumption patterns in East Java. This research uses secondary data obtained from Susenas data in 2022 and other literature. Using a sample of 32,454 households taken based on data availability at BPS. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis using several data suitability tests such as coefficient of determination, f test and t test. The research data is in the form of household consumption and expenditure data on wheat consumption, and household socio-economic data is in the form of income and number of household members. The results of this research show that the factors that have a significant influence on flour consumption in East Java are the price of wheat, the price of potatoes, the price of sweet potato and the number of family members. Of the several significant factors, the number of household members has a significance of 1% with a total coefficient value of 4,058. This means that if there is an increase in the number of household members, flour consumption will increase. Meanwhile, other factors such as the price of wheat, the price of potatoes, the price of cassava have a significant 5%.
