The agricultural sector is crucial to Indonesia's economy, particularly in supporting the welfare of small farmers. One important sub-sector is sugarcane plantations, which play a significant role as sugar demand continues to rise alongside population growth and the food industry. However, domestic sugar production has yet to meet the national market. East Java has the largest sugarcane production, and Malang Regency contributes the highest yield. Among these, Krebet Village in Bululawang District, Malang Regency, is notable, with most of its residents being sugarcane farmers. This study aims to analyze the effect of sugar prices, sugarcane yield, production output, and production costs on the income of sugarcane farmers in Krebet Village, Bululawang District, Malang Regency.

This research uses a quantitative approach, surveying 36 sugarcane farmers, and employs multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results indicate that sugarcane yield, production output, and production costs significantly impact farmers' income, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.810, meaning these factors explain 81% of the income variation. The F-test shows that the regression model is significant overall. The study also highlights the strong relationship between sugarcane price and yield. The study suggests farmers should actively participate in training and extension programs to improve yield and production output. Additionally, effective management of production costs is essential for maximizing profits.
