Abstract


Abstract

Increasing the welfare of farmers is the main focus in agricultural development in order to achieve food self-sufficiency and increase welfare The Youth Entrepreneurship and Employment Support Services (YESS) program initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture and IFAD aims to improve the welfare of millennial farmers with training, capital assistance and mentoring. This program has been implemented in various provinces, including East Java, West Java, South Kalimantan and South Sulawesi, with a target of 320,000 rural youth. The aim of the research is to to analyze how much influence the Youth Entrepreneurship And Employmen Support Services (YESS) program has on the welfare level of millennial farmers in Purwodadi District. This research was carried out in March 2024. More precisely, the researcher used a simple random sampling technique. Sampling was done by writing a list of members on paper and then shaking it. The data was processed using SEM. The results of the analysis state that these two variables have a significant positive effect on the welfare level of millennial farmers in Purwodadi Pasuruan District.
