ANALISIS EFISIENSI DAN FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PRODUKSI USAHATANI TEBU DI DESA KALIREJO KECAMATAN KALIPARE KABUPATEN MALANG

Abstract

Sugar cane (Saccharum officinarum Linn) is a plant grown as raw material for sugar and vetsin. This plant can only grow in tropical climates. As the demand for sugar increases, more sugar cane production will be needed for raw materials. This research aims to 1. Analyze the efficiency of sugar cane farming in Kalirejo Village, Kalipare District, Malang Regency, 2. Analyze what factors influence the production of sugar cane farming in Kalirejo Village, Kacamatan. Kalipare, Malang Regency. The research used a quantitative descriptive approach carried out in Kalirejo Village, Kalipare District, Malang Regency, which was carried out deliberately (purposive method). Sampling used a random method (Simple Random Sampling) with a total of 45 respondents. The method used in the research is R/C Ratio analysis to analyze efficiency and the Cobb-Douglas production function model to analyze factors that influence sugar cane production. The results of the analysis show that the R/C Ratio value for sugarcane farming is 2.5, which indicates that sugarcane farming at the research site is efficient. Furthermore, the factors that influence sugar cane production are land area, seeds and phonska fertilizer. Factors that do not influence sugarcane farming production are urea fertilizer, medicines and labor.
