This research aims to determine the estimated costs, revenues and income of shallot farmers in Besuki village, Besuki subdistrict, Tulungagung district Shallots are a type of national vegetable commodity that is often cultivated by farmers in Indonesia. This vegetable has a lot of market demand because of its benefits as a complement to cooking spices which add to the taste and enjoyment of the dish. The cultivation of this commodity has great potential to be developed for both domestic and export needs (Ministry of Agriculture, 2019). With the many uses that shallots have, it is estimated that the community's need for shallots is quite high every year.. Sampling method using random sampling technique. The population in this study was 300 people. According to Sugiyono (2016) the random sampling technique is a technique for taking samples from members of the population which is carried out randomly without paying attention to the strata in the population. Determining the number of samples in research refers to the Slovin formula. Red onion farming in Besuki Village is classified as profitable because having a red onion farming business in Besuki Village is classified as profitable. The average total income per hectare from respondent farmers is Rp. . 242,141,700,- with a total cost per hectare of Rp. 141,314,403 so that a profit of Rp. 100,827,297, per hectare. With an R/C ratio of 1.9.
