Farmer response theory can be interpreted as a change in farmers' attitudes resulting from stimulation from outside and within farmers in the form of implementing programs to expand planting areas, organizing groups and collecting and disseminating technological information. The aim of this research is. To determine the difference in income of cayenne pepper farmers who responded and did not respond to counseling in Dadapan Village, Solokuro District, Lamongan Regency. The data analysis methods for this research include cost analysis, revenue analysis, income analysis, average difference test or independent sample t-test). The location of the research was carried out deliberately, namely in Dadapan Village, Solokuro District, Lamongan Regency. Sampling was carried out using two sampling methods, namely purposive sampling and census, each of which was used to sample 25 cayenne pepper farmers who responded to the counseling and 25 cayenne pepper farmers who did not respond to the counseling. Data collection uses primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from direct interviews with cayenne pepper farmers, while secondary data was obtained from related agencies. The results of the analysis show that there is a significant (real) difference between the income of cayenne pepper farms that respond to extension and those that do not respond to extension. Suggestions for cayenne pepper farmers to increase total revenue. By increasing the price of cayenne pepper by increasing the added value so that cayenne pepper can be marketed in supermarkets.
