LEADING COMMODITIES-BASED TOURISM VILLAGE DEVELOPMENT MODELS IN BANDARKEDUNGMULYO DISTRICT JOMBANG DISTRICT

Abstract


The development of tourist villages is a planned change that requires holistic participation of local communities. This study aims to examine the potential for the development of superior commodity-based tourism villages and formulate a model for developing superior commodity-based tourism villages in Gondangmanis Bandarkedungmulyo tourism. In this study to find and explore researcher data using descriptive qualitative research methods where in searching for data researchers make observations, interviews and documentation and all of that will be presented in the form of quality descriptive analysis. The development of Gondangmanis village, Jombang Regency, has become one of the tourism villages that raises tourism based on the leading commodities in the village with the theme of agro-tourism. Where the tourist village presents a tourist activity that involves the use of agricultural land or related facilities that are an attraction for tourists, namely the darsono guava / tau ball plantation also known as jambu gondang. Not only that, the gondangmanis tourism village also provides educational tours forwan tourists who come to visit such as starting from breeding, planting to harvesting guava does not arrive there, even the way of processing the results of guava is also one of the facilities provided by the tourist village. The research also examines how to develop the tourism village based on introducing the superior commodities owned by the village, it will continue to be developed so that it can better attract tourists to visit and travel in Gondangmanis tourism, Bandarkedungmulyo district, Jombang regency.
