UPAYA GURU AKIDAH AKHLAK DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER PESERTA DIDIK DI MI MA’ARIF PENANGGUNGAN

Abstrak

Character Education is a knowledge that teaches about moral, behavior and personality. It means that the learning process which is carried out in educational institutions must be able to lead, develop and instill good values to the students, so it can be implemented in their daily life. The study was conducted in MI Ma'arif Penanggungan. The purpose of this study was to determine the planning, implementation, and monitoring of learning activities carried out by Akidah Akhlak teachers in MI Ma'arif Penanggungan, this study used a qualitative approach. The procedure for data collection is done by using the method of observation, interview and evaluation. In this study, the teacher started the lesson plans by considering the learning strategy. The Akidah Akhlak teacher carried out several agenda, such as celebrating Islamic holidays and also memorizing surah after prayer. Monitoring is also done by the Head of Madrasah through evaluation in every semester. Some points that need to be considered as suggestions are how to be innovative from the Madrasah, especially Akidah Akhlak teachers in developing some methods to grow the students’ character in MI Ma'arif Penanggungan.
