STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN TAHFIZH DALAM MENUMBUHKAN CINTA AL-QUR’AN DI MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning strategy of memorizing the Qur'an and the efforts of teachers in fostering a love of the Qur'an in students at MI Tahfizh Baitur Rohman, Malang Regency. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study research type. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the learning strategy of memorizing the Qur'an was implemented through the application of the Qiroaty method, grouping tahfizh classes based on student abilities, memorization (talaqqi) activities, istimror, questions and answers, connecting verses, muroja'ah consistently, and periodic evaluations. The efforts of teachers in fostering a love of the Qur'an were carried out through the habit of reading the Qur'an in a classical manner, creating a comfortable and enjoyable learning atmosphere, providing motivation, and providing awards and reinforcement (rewards). These strategies and efforts have been proven to support improving the quality of memorization and fostering students' closeness to the Qur'an.This study aims to examine the implementation of the Project Based Learning experiment to demonstrate the concept of changes in the state of matter. The results show that Project Based Learning encourages active participation and supports the development of students’ critical thinking skills, as reflected in their ability to observe, analyze experimental results, and draw conclusions based on their findings.
