PENGGUNAAN METODE TILAWATI DALAM MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS MEMBACA AL-QUR’AN DI MINU MAUDLU’UL ULUM

Abstrak

This thesis explains about the implementation of tilawati method at MINU Maudlu'ul Ulum in Malang City. It also answers some research question as follows : (1) how was the implementation of tilawati method at MINU Maudlu'ul Ulum, and (2) what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing tilawati method at MINU Maudlu'ul Ulum. Using phenomenology approach and descriptive analysis, this thesis has obtained research data from structured interview, participant observation, and documentation. The results of this research shows that (1) the implementation of tilawati method at MINU Maudlu'ul Ulum Malang City is good enough. There are classical and phonoc approach used in implementing tilawati method. These approaches are used continuously in order to ease students in reading Holy Qur'an. (2) The supporting factors in implementing tilawati method are: (a) tilawati method had been included in curriculum, (b) there is a good support from teachers (both internal and external) and foundation, (c) competent teachers (who have already had 'syahadah') always give a good support, (d) there is a good commitment from teacher council to produce religious generation. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors to implement tilawati method are : (a) Limited time available for learning tilawati, (b) Poor student's presence, (c) low number of competent teacher who can decide students' upsurgence, (d) not all teachers can be 'munasyiq', (e) various number of student in every class, (f) students did not bring required module.
