IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM UNGGULAN SMART QUR’AN MELALUI METODE THORIQOTY PADA KELAS TAHFIDZ DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


The Smart Qur'an Program is one of the flagship programs implemented at SD Brawijaya Smart School Malang to improve students' ability in reading and memorizing the Qur'an. This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, and experiences of teachers and students in the implementation of the Smart Qur'an Program through the Thoriqoty method in tahfidz classes. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a narrative research design. The participants consisted of the principal, program coordinator, tahfidz teachers, homeroom teachers, and students. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model involving data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that: (1) the planning of the Smart Qur'an Program was conducted systematically through coordination among school stakeholders, including determining learning objectives, memorization targets, schedules, and student grouping; (2) the implementation was carried out daily through muroja'ah, Qur'an reading activities, Thoriqoty-based learning, and memorization submission; and (3) the program provided positive experiences for both teachers and students, including improvements in Qur'an literacy skills, memorization ability, religious character development, discipline, and self-confidence. The study concludes that the Smart Qur'an Program through the Thoriqoty method effectively supports Qur'anic learning and strengthens students' religious character in tahfidz classes.
