PENERAPAN METODE MIND MAPPING DENGAN MEDIA GAMABAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PADA MATA PELAJARAN SEJARAH KEBUDAYAAN ISLAM KELAS IV DI MI HIDAYATUL MUBTADI’IN TASIKMADU MALANG

Abstract

Learning method is a way that able to facilitate teacher to convery the material discussed. In this study the method used is mind map method equipped with image media. With the use o methods and media, it is expected to be able improve students learning outcomes because it has not reached the specified minimum criteria of 74.00. This research was conducted at MI Hidayatul Mubtadi’in Tasikmadu Malang in class IV. This method of mind maps with image media was applied to the subjects of Islamic Culture History (SKI) which had the concept o learning in the form of stories, so that the teacher usually only used the lecture method when learning, that the students would easily get bored. With the use of mind map methods accompanied by this picture media has been able to criteria, with an achievement of only 56,1. And increased to 73,8 in the post-test cycle I, increasing again in the post-test cycle II which reached 88,4. From the increase in the results obtained, the method of mind maps with effective image media to improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students on subjects in history of Islamic culture.
