IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM JAM PERPUSTAKAAN (JP) DALAM MEMBENTUK KETERAMPILAN LITERASI SISWA FASE A DI MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH

Abstract


Literacy is also important for the academic development of students, especially in Phase A. In this regard, it is necessary to cultivate reading habits and make optimal use of libraries from an early age. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Primary data is obtained through interviews and direct observations in the field. Secondary data is obtained from project activity documentation, supporting data, and the profile of MIN 1 Malang City. The results of the implementation of the Library Time Program at MIN 1 Malang City have proven to be effective in enhancing students' literacy skills in Phase A. This program not only focuses on technical reading abilities but also includes aspects of comprehension, reading habits, critical and communicative thinking skills, and positively impacts academic achievement.
