IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM BIMBINGAN BELAJAR MEMBACA DAN MENULIS SISWA DISLEKSIA DI MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH
Abstract
This study aims to describe the implementation of a remedial learning program for reading and writing skills among dyslexic students at MI Khadijah Malang. The research focuses on the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages of the program. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. The findings show that (1) program planning was carried out through diagnostic assessments of students’ basic reading, writing, and numeracy skills, which were then formulated into Individual Learning Plans (ILPs); (2) program implementation was conducted three times a week using a multisensory approach with visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile learning media, as well as educational games adapted to the characteristics of dyslexic students; (3) program evaluation was carried out continuously through daily observations, progress records, and supervision by the school principal. Despite challenges such as limited facilities and low parental involvement, the program proved effective in improving students’ literacy skills, self-confidence, and social abilities. This study contributes to the development of inclusive education practices in Islamic elementary schools.
