UPAYA PENCEGAHAN PERILAKU BULLYING DALAM MEMBENTUK SEKOLAH RAMAH ANAK DI MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH

Abstract


The phenomenon of bullying in elementary schools poses a serious challenge to realizing inclusive and equitable education in Indonesia. This study aims to identify and describe bullying prevention strategies in the context of building a child-friendly school, using a case study at MI Miftahul Ulum Ampeldento Malang. A qualitative approach with a descriptive case study design was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, and students. The findings reveal that the school implements various strategies such as appointing homeroom teachers as class counselors, promoting student participation without discrimination, providing extracurricular activities, cultivating the 5S culture (Smile, Greet, Salute, Politeness, and Courtesy), randomizing seating arrangements regardless of gender, and displaying anti-bullying posters. These strategies contribute to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment while also reflecting the integration of Islamic values with inclusivity principles. This study is expected to serve as a reference for the development of educational policies that emphasize human values and students’ psychological well-being.
