IMPLEMENTASI METODE SNOWBALL THROWING DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR ILMU PENGETAHUAN ALAM DAN SOSIAL PADA SISWA KELAS VI MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH

Abstract


This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Snowball Throwing method in improving student learning outcomes in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subjects at MI Raudlatul Mubtadiin. The method used by the researcher is Classroom Action Research (PTK), which has been implemented in 2 cycles, in each cycle the researcher refers to the Kemmis and McTaggart PTK model which uses four research stages, namely the planning stage, then implementation and observation, and finally the reflection or introspection stage of learning. Data was collected through observation, interviews and learning outcomes tests. And the data analysis was carried out descriptively quantitatively to determine the increase in student learning outcomes after implementing the Snowball Throwing method. The research results showed an increase in student learning outcomes after implementing the Snowball Throwing method, with the level of completion increasing from 25% in the pre-test to 80% in the second cycle. This method has been proven to be able to increase students' active involvement, critical thinking, and learning motivation in science learning.
