IMPLEMENTASI PEMBELAJARAN IPAS DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER KEPEDULIAN TERHADAP SESAMA DI LINGKUNGAN SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

This study examines how science and technology education are used to help class 4 pupils at SDI Bani Hasyim Singosari develop the virtue of empathy in the classroom. The purpose of this study is to explain, evaluate, and interpret how science instruction is planned, carried out, and how it contributes to students' development of empathy in the fourth grade at SDI Bani Hasyim Singosari. This research approach combines a case study style with qualitative methods. The study's findings demonstrate that teachers prepare using teaching modules that are organized in accordance with the independent curriculum, but there aren't any particular goals linked to helping students develop the kind of caring character that they will need in the classroom. use of learning objectives, learning models, learning resources, media, and learning materials in addition to the teacher's actual examples. Students who learn science in the classroom are better able to form positive relationships with others by being more responsible, cooperative, compassionate, and able to share. Teachers can measure these improvements by evaluating students' work on worksheets, projects, and presentations—a process known as formative and summative assessments.
