ANALISIS KESULITAN BELAJAR MATEMATIKA PADA MATERI OPERASI BERHITUNG PERKALIAN BERSUSUN SISWA KELAS IV MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) explain students' abilities in calculating multiple multiplications (2) describe the factors of difficulty experienced by students in calculating multiplication multiplication (3) describe efforts that can be made to overcome difficulties in learning mathematics operations calculating multiplication multiplication in class IV in MI Al-Fattah Malang City. To achieve this goal, the method used in this research is a qualitative method with a case study approach. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Through these techniques, researchers can collect in-depth data to understand the difficulties of learning mathematics in class IV multiplication calculation operations at MI Al-Fattah, Malang City. Based on the results of research at MI Al-Fattah Malang City, it shows that: (1) students' ability to answer mathematics learning questions on multiplication calculation operations in layers is still low (2) the difficulty factor in calculating multiplication experienced by students is that students are less able to memorize multiplication and the method used is not according to (3) Efforts that can be made to overcome difficulties in learning mathematics with multiplication calculation operations are the use of media and strategies used by teachers in the learning process.
