PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR DENGAN PEMBERIAN REWARD PADA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA KELAS V DI MIS AL KHOIRIYAH PAKIS

Abstract

Students think that mathematics is a scary and boring subject, which causes them to not be motivated to learn the mathematics material taught by the teacher. To increase students' learning motivation, giving effort is needed to reward students' learning motivation, especially in mathematics lessons at MIS Al Khoiriyah Pakis. This research aims to 1) describe planning to increase learning motivation in fifth grade mathematics lessons at MIS Al Khoiriyah Pakis, 2) to analyze the implementation and results of increasing learning motivation at MIS Al Khoiriyah Pakis. To achieve this goal, research was carried out using the type of classroom action research which was carried out in three research cycles. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires and written tests. The results of this research show that, 1) planning learning by giving reward can increase students' learning motivation to be active in learning, 2) the implementation of learning is carried out through III activity cycles, based on the results of observations, an increase in learning activities and student learning activities is obtained. 3) the results of increasing students' learning motivation by giving reward in class V mathematics lessons at MIS Al Khoiriyah.
