PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER RELIGIUS SISWA MELALUI BUDAYA SEKOLAH DI MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH

Abstract

This research is based on the increasing number of cases regarding the decline in moral values, resulting in the world of education being considered a failure in educating the next generation of an advanced nation. To realize this problem, a madrasa has efforts to form students’ religious character, including through the application of school culture, namely through the implementation of program in school culture. The focus of the problem is (1) the religious character of students at MI Islamiyah Kebonsari Malang (2) the formation of students’ religious character through school culture at MI Islamiyah Kebonsari Malang. The aim is to describe the religious character of students at MI Islamiyah Kebonsari Malang and describe the formation of students’ religious character through school culture at MI Islamiyah Kebonsari Malang. This research uses a qualitative case study type of research. With data collection procedures through observation, interviews and documentation. The formation of students’ religious character through school culture can be done through refraction, namely: getting used to muroja’ah, getting used to Dhuha prayers in congregation which is carried out to guide students in improving their reading and prayer movements, getting used to Dhuhr prayers in congregation.
