KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA MADRASAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI PROFESIONAL GURU DI MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH

Abstract

The progress of an institution cannot be separated from the enthusiasm and hard work of all institutional staff, including school principals, teachers, and other staff within this institution, to work together in advancing the quality of education. But of all the staff who play the most role in advancing the quality of education is the principal as the head of the institution. The purpose of this study was to determine the leadership of the madrasa head in improving the professional competence of teachers at MI Almaarif 02 Singosari. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection is done by interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis was performed using inductive analysis with stages data collection, data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions. To maintain the validity of the data used triangulation technique. Some research results conclude thatthe head of the madrasah develops a vision that reflects an increase in the competence of teaching staff. This study shows that the increase in the professional competence of teachers in this school has been carried out properly.
