OPTIMASI PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK PADA PESERTA DIDIK BERKEBUTUHAN KHUSUS (ABK) KELAS 2 DI MINU SUMBERPASIR PAKIS MALANG

Abstract


This research departs from the background of optimizing thematic learning for students with special needs (ABK). In thematic learning activities, thematic learning is rarely fulfilled because the class teacher has difficulty conditioning children with special needs. Based on the above, the school's efforts to provide facilities in the form of providing additional hours after school. The purpose of this study was to determine the planning, implementation and constraints in thematic learning for children with special needs. Data collection techniques used interviews with the head of the madrasah, grade 2 teachers, observations were made in the classroom, and documentation. The results showed that, (1) the teacher's efforts in the thematic learning planning process for students with special needs held additional hours after school and (2) The teacher's efforts in implementing thematic learning for students with special needs were given additional hours after (3) Constraints - obstacles in optimizing students with special needs at MINU Sumberpasir Pakis school namely in the learning process namely in dealing with and understanding children with special needs who are not optimal, because children with special needs and normal children are very different children with special needs must get more attention than normal children usually, and not forget to give rewards with the aim of staying enthusiastic in learning.
