PENERAPAN MODEL KOOPERAATIF TIPE GROUP INVESTIGATION UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN BELAJAR PKN PADA MATERI KEBERAGAMAN SOSIAL BUDAYA KELAS V MI HIDAYATUL FATA PUJON MALANG

Abstract


This study intends to improve students' knowledge of PKN issues on social cultural diversity material for class V MI Hidayatul Fata. In PKN learning, there are still many students who have various problems in the learning process, especially the provision of material using the lecture technique, such that the teacher appears to control learning activities without any response from students. Inadequate student learning understanding The subjects of this study were fifth-grade students from MI Hidayatul Fata, a total of 11 children (4 boys and 7 girls). This is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of four activities: planning, implementation, assessment, and reflection. 1) The use of the Group Investigation type cooperative learning model worked well because it enhanced the results of observations of teacher activity in the first cycle from 80 to 91.25 in the second cycle. Obtaining the results of student observations in the first cycle, namely 62.5, grew to 85 in the second cycle. 2) The data on learning outcomes revealed an increase in students' understanding in the pre-cycle to obtain a percentage of learning outcomes of 18.8% with an average of 59.1, in the first cycle to obtain a percentage of learning outcomes of 54.54% with an average of 67.27, and in cycle II to obtain a percentage of learning outcomes of 81.8% with an average of 82. Thus, it can be concluded that student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II with the implementation of the type cooperative learning model Group Investigation are satisfactory.
